Small Group Training
Our Small Group Volleyball Training is designed to provide athletes the opportunity to experience the same great training they would get in private training — all without having to compete for scheduling availability and at a cheaper price tag. Each group session will have a large amount of repetition volume, while still prioritizing technical details and focus.
For each position/skill group, we have distilled certain ‘principles’ that apply to all athletes playing that particular position. What this allows for is a productive training session regardless of the athlete’s current ability, experience level, or age. Further, because our groups are designed to be run fairly independent of other athletes, regardless of who else signs up, each athlete will have a productive training experience.

Serve & Pass
Being able to serve and to receive the serve are the two most important skills in the game of volleyball. Why? Well, if you can’t serve and you can’t receive the serve, it doesn’t matter how well you can set, hit, block, dig, or anything else. These are the first contacts that each team gets to make in any rally, and doing them well sets you up for success. Come join us for tons of disciplined, focused serving and passing reps. Sessions are lead by our top coaches and are designed to optimize technical and tactical ability, all while increasing the athlete’s Volleyball IQ.
Outsides & Opposites
The Outside and Opposite (sometimes called Right-Side) positions are two of the most heavily-used offensive positions on most teams. Being able to attack and block from the left and right side of the court is critical to any team’s success. During these group sessions, we focus on being able to hit bad sets well, expanding offensive range, and blocking in the numerous situations that these positions find themselves in every match. Sessions are lead by our top coaches and are designed to optimize technical and tactical ability, all while increasing the athlete’s Volleyball IQ.
Setters
The setter is the arguably the most important position on the team. Touching the ball the most during every match and running the offense, the responsibility on this position is great. Come fine-tune your technical and tactical skills, all while getting tons of disciplined, focused setting repetitions. Sessions are lead by our top coaches and are designed to optimize technical and tactical ability, all while increasing the athlete’s Volleyball IQ.
Liberos & Defense
Everyone knows that defense wins championships, and there is no more important defensive player than the team’s libero. Responsible for keeping the ball off the floor more than anyone else and initiating the offense, having the correct technical skills to pass and dig with one’s platform and hands is imperative to success at the libero position. This group is also great for any other positions looking to improve their serve-receive and digging abilities! Sessions are lead by our top coaches and are designed to optimize technical and tactical ability, all while increasing the athlete’s Volleyball IQ.
Middles
The middle position is super unique. No other position plays the game quite like the middles — having to move both left and right to block and having to attack at ultra-fast speeds. Our Middles Group is perfect to get into the nitty gritty of what makes a Middle Blocker great at their job, and provides the amount of repetition to transfer that learning into habit. Sessions are lead by our top coaches and are designed to optimize technical and tactical ability, all while increasing the athlete’s Volleyball IQ.
Beginners
Everyone has to start somewhere, and we hope that you choose to start here with us! Our Beginner groups are designed for athletes with little-to-no formal volleyball training and are all about the basics. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting, blocking, serving, and digging — all while being encouraged to take ‘risks’ and try new things. Training will be heavily ‘game’ focused to ensure that the athlete’s first experiences with volleyball are full of fun and laughter, but without sacrificing great, high-level coaching.
Vertical Jump Bootcamp
It’s hard to argue that there is a single physical ability more important to success in volleyball than jumping well. Knowing this, our Vertical Jump Bootcamp is designed around increasing your vertical jump in a high-energy, fun training atmosphere. Athletes will work hard for 45 minutes doing a combination of plyometric, strength, speed, and technical work.
