Open Gyms
Open Gym sessions offer a player-led environment where athletes can compete, get extra reps, and connect with others who share their passion for the game, all in a fun flexible setting. Open Gyms are supervised but not coached.
Schedule Below!
➜ What are Open Gyms?
The more time athletes spend on the court, the faster their skills, confidence, and game IQ can grow.
Open Gyms are designed to provide that extra time in a fun, flexible setting. Unlike training sessions, Open Gyms are not structured or coach-led. It’s a space where athletes can scrimmage, get reps, and compete with peers.
➜ What to expect:
Supervised Play - A TVI staff member will be present to provide balls, set up nets, and help keep play organized.
Athlete-Led Space – Athletes decide how they want to use their time: play games, run drills, or challenge each other.
Plenty of Touches – Sessions are capped at 6 players, ensuring everyone gets quality reps.
➜ Who to expect:
Open Gyms are great for:
Club and high school athletes looking for extra reps
Players preparing for tryouts or upcoming seasons
Athletes who love competition in a less formal setting
Volleyball players who simply want more time on the court
➜ Important notes:
Open Gyms are not coaching sessions. The supervisor may, at their discretion, participate or offer feedback, but they are not expected to do so.
Competition is athlete-led and may vary from week to week.
Net height defaults to women’s height unless all participants agree otherwise. The supervisor is responsible to make any adjustments.
