Taylor is a middle blocker for the University of Texas, where she made the SEC All-Freshman Team. She has played for the USA Volleyball U21 National Team, winning gold at the NORCECA Continental Championship and Pan American Cup, and competed at the U19 World Championship.
Before Texas she was the Utah Gatorade Player of the Year, an AVCA First Team High School All-American, a three-time state champion and MVP, and the No. 1 ranked middle blocker in her class.
