Built for coaches who want control

We created the TVI Trainer role for people who want to control their schedule, earn what their time is worth, and coach drama-free. Some Trainers coach an hour here and there around school, work or family. Others have made it their main income, built over time by growing as coaches and earning families who keep coming back.

An hour here, or full time

Coach as much or as little as you like. One session a week is just as welcome as a full schedule, and you can change it whenever life does.

Your schedule, your call

Tell us when you’re free and families book those times, at gyms near you that TVI has already set up. You decide when you coach.

Coach drama-free

No team politics, no playing-time debates, no chasing payments. Families book you through our booking page, and our team handles scheduling and customer service. You just coach.

Room to grow

As you qualify, you can add Mini‑Groups, Foundations and Team Camps.

How pay works

Private Training pay works on a ladder of $10 steps today. Next, we’re building a pay system where your rate follows how happy your families are: how many families book you again, and how long they keep training with you. As it rolls out, you’ll see your own numbers every month.

Nothing here is guaranteed

Most new Trainers start at $20 an hour. From there, what you earn depends on the quality of your coaching, your reliability, and whether families choose to come back to you.

Everyone starts from zero

Every Trainer starts without a client base. You build yours one family at a time.

Full time takes time

Our full-time Trainers took time to develop their skills and build their base of families.

Coaching with TVI part-time has been a great way to stay involved in volleyball while balancing a full-time job and everything else life brings. The flexibility makes it easy to coach a few hours a week without feeling like it takes over my schedule, while still getting to do something I really enjoy.

Coaching at TVI is a dream job! I have been told countless times by parents and athletes how much I’ve helped them achieve their goals and grow and come to really love the sport that has given me so much, which is unbelievably rewarding to me. The staff and scheduling crew make it unbelievably easy for me to set up my hours, set up the gym, and get clients to come in. TVI is one of the only places that truly makes me feel valuable as a coach. They really care about their Trainers, have their backs, and compensate better than any club or high school ever would. There is no downside to working with TVI if you love coaching. It is the best thing out there.

Kelsey CampeauTVI Texas · Full-time TVI Trainer since TVI Texas began (1.5 years)

“TVI creates an environment where both athletes and coaches are constantly learning and growing.”

What I love about TVI is being surrounded by coaches who are passionate about what they do and truly care about the athletes they work with. There’s something so rewarding about helping athletes learn new skills, refine what they already know, and watching that light bulb go off when something finally clicks. TVI also makes it easy to focus your time and energy on coaching, with a system that handles the scheduling and a team that is always there to support you along the way. TVI creates an environment where both athletes and coaches are constantly learning and growing, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.

“TVI has given me the time, location, and financial freedom to do what I love.”

I love that TVI’s mission is “Confidence Through Volleyball” and that it is set up so that it’s easy to provide that. I love getting to work with great kids, purely on their growth, completely untied to anything like playing time or what position a program needs, just adding value to that kid’s life. I love that TVI has given me the time, location, and financial freedom to do what I love (help people get better at living life through volleyball) in a way that fits with the rest of my life. I love that through TVI, I can help athletes see that volleyball is just part of their lives and that what they learn here can extend to so many different areas of their present and future. The leadership here treats the coaches in the same way. I have learned so much by being part of this team that has made me feel empowered to build a bigger and more empowered life as a whole, so the mission extends through the whole culture, not just telling the athletes one thing and doing another.

Who we’re looking for

People who care about making lives better, not just earning a paycheck.

Our mission is Confidence Through Volleyball: helping athletes believe in themselves, on the court and off it. The Trainers who thrive here genuinely care about the people they coach.

That care comes through in every session. Athletes feel it, families notice it, and they come back for it. As our pay system comes to follow how happy your families are, how much you truly care will shape your success here either way.

  • You care more about the athlete in front of you than the hour on the clock.
  • You have real volleyball experience: club, college or pro, playing or coaching.
  • You can teach a 12-year-old something in one hour that their parents notice.
  • You’re reliable. Families plan their week around you.
  • You’ll pass a background check and abuse-prevention training before your first session. We coach kids, and we never compromise on that.
