Lauren grew up in Chicago, Illinois, playing for 1st Alliance Volleyball Club, where she and her team earned multiple bids to USA Volleyball Junior Nationals and several top-five national placements.
She then played collegiate volleyball at DePauw University, where she was the only member of her class to make it all four years and was a four-year starter. In her senior year, she led her team to a conference championship and received multiple all-tournament team accolades.
As a middle blocker, she consistently ranked in the top five in her conference for blocks per set, averaging one block per set. Since retiring from playing, Lauren has pursued her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology while coaching club, high school, and small group/one-on-one volleyball lessons.
