Austin is a three-time NCAA champion, winning titles both as a player and as a coach. He coached collegiately for over a decade making stops at the University of Illinois and TCU among others. In that time he coached 10 different All-Americans to 12 total awards.
Austin brings a wealth of experience learning from some of the best coaches in the country. He competed collegiately at UC Irvine under former USA National Team head coach John Speraw. He served under current Stanford head coach, Kevin Hambly, during his time at Illinois.
Additionally, he spent two years working with 11-time NCAA champion Charlie Sullivan at Springfield College. Above all, Austin is passionate about teaching young people to believe in themselves and learn life skills through sport.
