Jake is a former NCAA Division I volleyball coach with 13 years at the University of Wisconsin, Missouri State University, the University of Oklahoma, Illinois State University, Michigan State University and the University of Alabama.
That coaching career includes 8 All-Americans, 6 NCAA Tournament appearances, 4 conference championships and an NCAA National Championship appearance. As a player, Jake was a two-time Big Ten Men’s Volleyball Association Defensive Player of the Year and an All-Conference pick.
Jake’s main goal is to build confidence in young people in their skills while introducing them to new ways to play and think about the game. Volleyball gave Jake family, friends, self-confidence, critical thinking and creativity, and Jake wants others to have that same experience.
