Luis Zavala is an experienced middle blocker with over 11 years of competitive volleyball experience. A standout collegiate athlete at Augustana College, Luis was named MCVL Rookie of the Year and earned All-Conference honors twice during his career. Since graduating, he has continued to compete at a high level in the Volleyball League of America (VLA), playing for teams such as Southside XP, Chicago Vibes, and the Windy City Wizards. Having been immersed in high-level volleyball throughout his life, Luis is passionate about the game and excited to share his knowledge and insights with the next generation of athletes.

I'm a big believer in the fundamentals. I think everything in volleyball stems from having a solid base—especially when it comes to footwork and understanding your position. Being able to work directly with athletes to see how comfortable they are with these movements is key. That insight helps me guide them more effectively and build the confidence and consistency they need on the court.
