Chris has been coaching volleyball since 2010. This has ranged from boys high school, girls high school, girls club, junior high for boys and girls, and girls elementary school camps. He is currently coaching girls club volleyball at the 17s level and is a current coach at Westmont High School for their girls program. He has an excellent knowledge of the sport and can help coach every skill level.

“I believe coaching is more than just knowing skills. While that is a big part, it is also important to connect with your players and help them learn and grow in the best way for them. What works for some might not work for others. I offer a very personalized approach to my coaching in order to maximize the development of each individual player as well as preaching a unified team concept.

My girls (16, 16, 13) did a 3:1 lesson with Chris Marsik which was nothing but positive, good, and amazing for them. Chris critiqued their stance, and arms during serve receive. Made sure to show them what they were doing and how to adjust the right way. For hitting, he stopped the girls and made them think what they were doing, watched, and adjusted their moves. They are more confident on the court. We will definitely be doing more lessons with Chris, and we highly recommend him to anyone needing extra reps or help.
