Nick Ramos

Nick has had an impressive volleyball resume the last few years. Nick is an outside hitter who started all 4 years at previous NAIA powerhouse school, Clarke University. Following college, Nick joined an NVA team, the Chicago Untouchables, where he was able to experience his first taste of "professional" volleyball. From that exposure, Nick was able to start his full professional career in Puerto Rico, most recently winning the championship with his team, Mets De Guaynabo.
Upon returning from Puerto Rico, Nick began coaching girls at Team One Volleyball Club. Currently, Nick has transitioned out of Team One, and is the Boys' Varsity Coach at Plainfield North High School, as well as the Boys' Director at Club 1 Volleyball.
Nick is still competing in the VLA with his team, the Chicago Sweed when he is not coaching.

Nick is capable in training any and all attackers, as well as working on first contact with any libero/DS. Nick specializes in Outside attackers.

Nick likes to think about the game at a very micro level. Making sure that the players that see him hyper-focus on all of the small details that may be overlooked that could take their game to the next level. He is a strategic coach and likes to make his players think 100% of the time to put themselves in the best situation possible for any volleyball action.
