  • When it comes to working with an athlete, I am very focused on what they want to get better at. This allows me to break down what I see as a coach and focus on the little things that they are struggling with. Every athlete has their own unique way of playing and I always recognize that and try to compare it to the way I would approach the problem if I were playing. I always see how the athlete feels about a change I make as feedback both ways creates a positive culture in the gym. I also make sure the athlete realized that working on new skills may feel weird at first, but that only means they are learning.
