Kaden found his love of volleyball when he was in middle school. He played setter for about 5 years, until his junior year of high school, when he transitioned to libero/defensive specialist. After graduating from Plainfield Central High School in May of 2020, and playing three years of club volleyball, he went on to continue his academic and athletic career at North Central College (NCAA-DIII) to pursue a degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics.
With COVID-19 putting a shadow on his senior season and freshman year of college, his love for the game was challenged. After taking a spring season coaching job, just looking for something fun to do in his spare time, he found something new to love about the game: coaching! Since then, he’s taken as many opportunities as he can manage to step on the court in this new role. He is a firm believer that the best teachers are the ones who never stop learning. Thus, every private session, practice, and game teaches him a new lesson, making him a stronger coach for his athletes with each time he steps out on the court.

My goal is to leave a positive impact on as many people as I can throughout my lifetime. Volleyball is one of my biggest avenues to do so. As a coach, I not only teach my athletes the skills to be the best volleyball players they can be, but I try to help them discover the tools to become the best people they can be. Through volleyball, we can learn the importance of patience, communication, perseverance, and so many more key life-values. My lessons involve a lot of communication, as I want to ensure that drills have clear purpose and are beneficial to my athlete’s goals. I hope that whenever an athlete trains with me, they walk away with a sense of growth and self-confidence.
