  • I am big on letting the athletes decide what they want to work on, and what they need to get better at. I will always work to guide them to understand what they need to fix after every rep, and I think it is important that the athlete understands what went wrong and how that can be fixed. Me telling you what to do is one thing, but when you understand it right away it will help you to make the fix on your own.

I am also a big proponent on giving the athletes take away and things they can work on after the session, almost like homework. There is only so much time I can be with them coaching and in the gym with them, so it is on the athletes to work on the main points of the lesson and use the lesson to create exercises to do on their own.
