Amanda has a wealth of high-level playing and coaching experience:

• Played 4 years at Ohio State University as a setter, making the NCAA tournament all four years (the "Sweet Sixteen" two of those years) and was captain her senior year, all while studying engineering!

• Played professionally in Austria (for many years), Slovenia, Greece, and the US Athletes Unlimited League, primarily as a setter and occasionally middle and opposite.

• Coached for DI Ohio University as they out-performed expectations.

• Currently a setter for the VLA semi-pro team Chicago Frost.

Most importantly, though, she is an exceptional person and cares deeply about having others find success in life and sport.

“I wanted to let you know that [Athlete] has repeatedly said that you’re the best coach she has ever had! And, you even make an appearance in her personal college essay about apologizing too much! Thank you again for being such a great coach and mentor to [Athlete]!"

“As a parent, watching my son respond so well to not only instruction, but also praise, stood out and was most meaningful. While he’s grown quite a bit over his second season playing organized club volleyball, he’s had ups and downs. Unfortunately for [Athlete], there have been more setbacks than high points, so seeing him smile as Amanda shared excitement at his good serves or the occasional pass meant so much to me.”

“Amanda - thank you, thank you, thank you for being a positive and supportive part of [Athlete']’s life. She comes out of her meetings with you recharged and ready to take on challenges. You can literally see her spark!”

“Hey! Just back from Wheaton and wanted to let you know that [my daughter] loved working with Amanda! She spent two hours with her and loved it. Thanks for providing a space for athletes to grow that isn’t tied to a club or playing time or any of the other things and they can get super high level training. We appreciate it!”
